The energy generated by winter sports and the immediate proximity of the Pal Arinsal resort (accessible by gondola) has led Arinsal to undergo intensive development, transforming it from a quiet village into a small town. Entirely dedicated to tourism, Arinsal's ambience peaks in winter, although the resort is also open in summer, offering numerous opportunities for sports and leisure activities, notably in the Comapedrosa park.
