Sheltered by colossal rocks, this small rustic village is crowned by the Romanesque church of Sant Cristófol, which dominates the entire valley of La Massana. This chapel, remodeled in the 16th century, still preserves the apse and the inner part of the north wall from the Romanesque period. The square bell tower is the only one in Andorra that is in the middle of the roof. Inside, there are murals: a Franco-Gothic Last Supper painted on the drum of the apse (late 13th-early14th century) and, on the north and east walls, paintings relating to Sant Cristófol and the psychostasy (the weighing of souls) dating from the 16th century.
