From the road, the first thing you see are the old dry-stone houses of Fontaneda, clinging to the mountain. Although many cyclists and hikers (especially those who go to the Canólich sanctuary) pass through this small hamlet of less than a hundred inhabitants that overlooks the valley, not everyone stops in front of the Fontaneda church. Located at the top of the village, this church, dedicated to Sant Miquel, is one of the proudest representatives of Andorran Romanesque architecture - the simplest and most refined. The view from the temple is breathtaking!
