On Sunday, at Baleyara, 96 km northeast of the capital, there is a large shaded market that attracts many Fulani from Dallol Bosso. The enclos of the zébus is immense, the Fulani of the Dallol present their beasts to the cornes shaped horns. From Baleyara to Filingué, a small town with hausa architecture, the erosion cliffs of the Dallol are left on the left. The Marché market is a great place for exchanges between Fulani and Tuareg pastors of Azaouak and Mil growers. If you don't want to go to Filingué, you can go back to the track between Baleyara and Harikanasou to discover the villages of Dallol, a very populated and cultivated valley, and join the asphalted road of Dosso halfway between Giraffe and Birni N'Gaouré with, perhaps, the chance to cross some giraffes!
