This small market is located at the corner of Rua Justino and Avenida Amilcar Cabral. The walls, with a height of about 3 m, are covered by the warm colours of the loincloths and the complete ones sold by the merchants and, on the ground, are packed djembés and other sculptures that should not be shy from bargain. Unfortunately, a fire destroyed it in March 2006, but it is expected to reopen shortly.
