BISSAU AUTO SERVICES

Car rental

Based on the observation that there were no car rental agencies in Guinea-Bissau, and that public transport in the country was not very comfortable, Jucelene, a very friendly Franco-Bissau-Guinean, launched her adventure by setting up the first agency in the capital, in 2021. Her fleet, still small for the moment, is made up entirely of air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles, in excellent condition for navigating the country's dilapidated roads. Rentals can be made with or without a driver, subject to certain conditions. A great way to get around!

This is the departure point for the Bijagos, either by ferry or private shuttle. It was also the scene of the massacre on August 3, 1959 by Portuguese forces of 50 dockworkers demonstrating for a pay rise. Forever etched in people's memories, August 3 has been a national holiday ever since.
