KUZNIA

World cuisine restaurant
4/5
1 review

A small restaurant serving Czech cuisine as well as classic Polish specialties which, apart from the most typical dishes such as pierogi, bigos and kotlet schabowy, offers goulash from the other side of the Oder and Hungarian pancakes (sweets particularly appreciated by Poles). Huge portions, dishes made with love, craft beer available at the counter and friendly service that makes you want to come back. In the dining room, brick walls and pleasant wooden furniture make for an incredibly economical restaurant.

KONSPIRA

Restaurant

Restaurant and "Historical Education Center", Konspira has recreated the atmosphere of the 1980s with Soviet newspapers, political cartoons, posters and other images of the era. A beautiful exhibition, unfortunately only in Polish, explains Wrocław's role in the Solidarnosc movement. Fabulous restaurant with huge portions and cheap prices. We recommend the plate of Polish specialties to share. Large wooded garden, playground. Ask to see the "hidden room", a reconstruction of an 80s apartment.

POD FREDRĄ

Restaurant €€

Located inside the town hall, this restaurant is the perfect place for a perfect introduction to traditional Polish cuisine. All the great classics are offered, the restaurant also has its own smoking room on site. Music and decor combine to create the appearance of an old Polish village. It's no coincidence that this is one of the best restaurants in the country in terms of atmosphere and immersion, even if the price is a bit of a pain in the wallet for dishes that are worth three times less elsewhere.

SETKA - BAR POLSKI LUDOWEJ

Restaurant

For those nostalgic for the Communist system, this bar recreates the dining experience of the era of the People's Republic of Poland, with a twist on the local snack&vodka bar trend. The walls are lined with images of Communist Poland, and the menu is absolutely typical, with the best potato pancakes and goulash in town. There's also a wide choice of vodkas and huge portions worthy of the USSR. Very popular, not to be missed.

KRÓLEWSKA

World cuisine restaurant €€€

Luxurious, traditional decor in the first room, the Presidential Room, where some tables overlook the Rynek. A second room, called Królewska, is much smaller, with just a few tables for two scattered around a bar. Finally, the third room, the Piwnica room, is more intimate and invites immersion. This establishment, which has been open for 15 years, offers French wines and high-flying dishes that are renowned in the city. The setting and dishes are luxurious and therefore more expensive than average, but not excessively so.
