Also known as the King's Castle, this ruin of a wooden fortification was last populated in early medieval times. Today, a reconstructed royal castle stands proudly on the slopes of Birów Mountain and is a real treat for history buffs as well as older children who enjoy getting lost in a theme park. In the Outlander Mountains, to which Gora Birow belongs, there are numerous prehistoric caves where artifacts have been unearthed: horn and flint tools, arrowheads, horseshoes or clay vessels have allowed us to better appreciate the history of the place and the way of life.
