A very dynamic and provocative contemporary art museum, at the forefront of the Polish scene in the former Schindler factory.

The modern glass and concrete structure, inaugurated in the summer of 2011, is the work of Italian architect Claudio Nardi. This excellent museum of contemporary art occupies the site of the former Oskar Schindler factory for a total area of 10,000m2. It was the largest investment in modern art in Poland. The museum presents world contemporary art in several exhibitions and promotes Polish art in all its aspects from the last 20 years. There is also a super-café and a nice in-house bookshop.

Bof ! à voir en cas de mauvais temps
Très bien présenté mais rien de transcendant . À côté des aberrations asémantiques de Piotr Lutynski , de Kristof Kintera et de la nullissime installation de Marek Chlanda (de la série : "L'enterrement de la sardine ") (voir photo) on appréciera la série de portraits locaux " Krakows Folks" d'Edward Dwunik ( voir photo) Un triste panorama de l'art polonais contemporain.

Beau musée d'art contemporain, très agréable à visiter et très aéré. Une grande variété d'œuvres sont exposées et une superbe vue d'ensemble de l'art polonais contemporain qui est très dynamique. de beaux clins d'œil comme cette dame à l'hermine revisitée! Assez excentré (juste à côté de l'usine Schindler) et peu facile d'accès, il bénéficie d'un accès gratuit le mardi.
