Set on the edge of the Vistula at the height of Kazimierz, close to the pedestrian bridge, this boat has a bar, an outdoor restaurant and a few rooms on board, with en-suite bathrooms. Simple, but original and very pleasant. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace.

It's just an 8-minute walk from the medieval Rynek Główny square and 1 km from the Wawel Royal Castle. Krakow railway station is 4 km away. The warmly decorated, casual-style rooms feature flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, mini-fridges and kettles. Some rooms also feature a sofa bed and/or connecting rooms. Superior rooms are decorated in Art Nouveau style and offer free access to the gym and sauna. The hotel also boasts a refined, inviting restaurant, a lush indoor garden, a sauna and a gym. Breakfast is available.

Founded in 1800, Pod Różą is the oldest hotel in Kraków. Recently renovated, it is very comfortable, the rooms are spacious and decorated soberly but with style, playing on contrasting materials rather than furniture. Its location is both an advantage and a problem: it overlooks the beautiful Floriańska Avenue, which is also the beating heart of the nightlife, so the rooms on the street are very noisy. Its two restaurants are still excellent, although they are no longer the benchmark they were a few years ago.

This hostel is not a hostel but a very good apartment-hotel, with competitive prices. It is very well located, about 100 meters from the Rynek, near one of the hot spots of the nightlife. Moreover, you are located just above a discotheque, so be careful if you are sensitive to noise pollution (which remains very livable)! The rooms are pleasant, with a modern decoration on the theme of the pink flamingo -the emblem of the house- and the bedding is good. The staff, renowned for its kindness, ensures a very comfortable and friendly stay.

This guesthouse, located in a beautiful 19th-century villa across the Vistula from the Wawel, is not exactly in the city center, but it offers a unique, intimate and decidedly Polish experience. The 14 rooms, old-fashioned, in white and cream tones and surrounded by the vegetation of the garden, are a carbon copy of the small country hotels built in the 1980s for Westerners. The service, the Polish cuisine restaurant and the breakfast are all typical of what was the norm even twenty years ago.

Ideally located next to the Planty, at the gateway to the Rynek and with a solid quality/price ratio, this apartment-hotel is one of our favorites. The 7 apartments in the complex have all been renovated to a high standard in gray and white tones, are spacious and very bright with fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, etc. Choose the apartments that still have their superb old parquet floors or ask for those overlooking the university. Breakfast (three options to choose from) is served only on request in room service.

Close to the bus and rail stations and the Krakow University of Technology, the hotel is located in the heart of Krakow, only 1 km from the old market square. There are 167 comfortable rooms with shower and toilet, 2 rooms suitable for disabled guests. To take forces before the visit, the Ibis Budget Kraków Trench Miasto offers a buffet breakfast, beverage and snack distributors located in the reception and available 24 hours a day.

In the heart of the old town, the Frenchman Pierre and his wife Anna welcome you in comfortable and nicely decorated rooms and apartments, and above all remarkably well located at 10m from the Rynek. Some of them offer views of the main square and the Cloth Hall (the only ones offered at these prices). Breakfast is served in the vaulted cellar of the restaurant, one of the most famous in the city. The staff is bilingual and very welcoming, which makes your trip much easier. A friendly and smart address!

Overlooking the Planty, the Wyspianski offers simple, no-frills, but clean and functional rooms that are gradually being refurbished. Most of the double rooms have two separate single beds, which makes them a good option if you are traveling with friends or a group. This is also the perspective of the large dining room that can accommodate up to 140 people. Overall, this hotel has a very interesting price/quality ratio considering its location! Don't stay up too late if you want to enjoy the breakfast buffet.

Located just above the café with the same name (same owner), this small B&B has four rather charming rooms under the roof with all the necessary comforts, but also completely outdated and a little worn in places. The delicious breakfast is served in the very nice café on the first floor and includes toast, pancakes and salads. The location on Wolnica Square is rather strategic, in the middle of several transport routes while being in the residential part of Kazimierz and therefore very quiet in the evening.

Located in the city of Krakow, the Aleje 28 Hostel is a budget hotel offering good value for money. Rooms are basic but comfortable, and facilities include free parking, free Wi-Fi and an airport shuttle. The hotel's location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and Wavel Castle. Travelers will also appreciate its proximity to restaurants and tourist attractions. However, some guests have noted that the hostel can be noisy and that the bathrooms are not always very clean. Despite this, Aleje 28 Hostel remains an affordable option for those looking for simple accommodation in Krakow.

Far from the centre, on a long street that encircles the Quartier Huta area, which has no good reputation but the advantage of being well connected with the centre.

Three minutes walk from the Rynek, the Wielopole is a very basic hotel, but what it does, it does well. It is therefore very popular with tourists who don't want to invest in their own accommodation. The front desk staff is helpful. The rooms are rather small and old-fashioned, in the style of the 2000s, but refreshed and very clean. The bedding is good and the hotel is quiet. Its restaurant is open every day of the week and offers a buffet breakfast, mostly savory, very complete and appreciated by the guests!
