Another temple to the Polish nation, an interesting journey through national ideology and current Polish nationalist discourse. Opened in 1990 during the last months of the Soviet regime, this museum traces the Polish nation's ceaseless struggle against its powerful and hostile neighbors, led by Russia and Germany (or so the discourse goes). More traditional than the Insurrection Museum, it provides an insight into the Polish mindset and their understanding of the notions of state and nation.
