Tin-Labbé is a troglodyte village 6 km northwest of Ouadane. In the surrounding area, many rocks are covered with words in Arabic and Tifinagh, the Tuareg script, attesting to the ancient presence of peoples of various origins in the region. When you are in Tin-Labbé, you are not far from Algeria: a border post was inaugurated in 2018, the first since the independence of Algeria and Mauritania. It is located in Tindouf, on the Algerian side, and aims to develop bilateral relations, the movement of goods, people, as well as trade and economy.
