Travel Guide Zig

On the track of Tidjikdja, at about thirty kilometers from Tichit, you arrive at the wells of Zig. The oldest well is silted up, the other one on the other hand is in water, but you must provide yourself with a consequent rope: indeed, the water is at more than 60 m of depth! A little before the beginning of the 1920s, in Zig, were found arrowheads in polished schist, triangular in shape, covered with a layer of desert varnish, which testify to the great skill of the ancient inhabitants of this sandy region. To reach Tichit, two high rocks form a natural door, junction of a part of the desert to the other.
