Traveling along the Route de l'Espoir (N3), whether you are heading west from Kiffa or Tidjikdja (via Sangarafa), or east from Nouakchott, Aleg or Bogué, you will inevitably come across the town of Magta-Lahjar. Surrounded, in the south, by agricultural plots where mainly millet grows, the locality lends itself to a stop to refresh itself (the N3, subject to recurrent repair works, is far from being a beautiful and rolling asphalt ribbon...), to refresh itself, to eat...
