It is the second village of Maré after Tadine and it is here that we find the airport of the island. It owes its name to the coral rocks that can be found there and which reach a height of 90 m. They were used as a refuge during the tribal wars and are still topped by some fortifications. At the top, you can admire the view that stretches over almost 20 km between Cape Roussin and Cape Coster.
