MFUWE LODGE

Relax and enjoy the Luangwa Valley at Mfuwe Lodge, voted the best lodge in Zambia in 2009!
The lodge is located 45 minutes from Mfuwe International Airport, inside the South Luangwa National Park, 5 minutes from the main gate, in an area renowned for its high concentration of wildlife.
Built under the shelter of ebony and other local trees, its thatched buildings are set on the banks of two lagoons, where you can watch a steady stream of wildlife, while relaxing on our deck or in our pool.
Refurbished in 2010, the lodge's 18 cottages and their interior design blend perfectly with their surroundings. Each chalet has its own terrace overlooking the lagoon and is fully equipped.
The lodge also has a "bush spa", where you can enjoy massages and treatments by the best professionals while watching the animals crossing the lagoon.
All ages are welcome at Mfuwe Lodge and we are happy to accommodate families with young children.
During your stay at Mfuwe Lodge, you will be able to benefit from the expertise of our guides, among the best in Africa, during two daily game drives (by vehicle or on foot), both day and night, allowing for maximum species viewing. Other activities can be arranged upon request, including visits to local schools that we support and a visit to the Tribal Textile workshop, a local company whose hand-painted batiks are the most beautiful in the country!
The Bushcamp Company, which owns the lodge, also owns 6 bushcamps, located in other areas of the park, often very remote and offering travelers an unforgettable nature experience. You can combine your stay in the lodge with a stay in the camps (a rotation between the different camps is possible), in order to enjoy all that this magnificent park has to offer!
