About 90 km northeast of Pakse and 35 km from Saravane. Ban Saenveng, commonly known as Tad Lo Village, has about 4,000 inhabitants in eleven ban (or villages). It is known for its tranquility, its freshness and the beauty of its three waterfalls: Tad Hang, Tad Lo and Tad Suong, only the latter being far from the village. The best time to admire the waterfalls is after the rainy season, from late October, early November. At this time, from Pakse you can see coffee plantations in bloom and lush vegetation on the roadside. The rest of the year, the waterfalls are supplied with water through a system of locks (water releases usually take place around 8pm). These three spectacular waterfalls, located on the circuit of the loop of Paksé, constitute a visit impossible to circumvent for the nature lovers. You can also take the opportunity to visit the traditional villages.
