A small but useful guidebook on Luang Prabang is available: history, sites to see, market, practical information (20 000 kips). The tourist office will be able to inform you about the sites of the northern cities and the province, as well as about ecotourism projects. Many free brochures on the various visits and activities to do in Luang Prabang and its surroundings.
