At the crossroads of Lane Xang and Khou Vieng avenues, opposite the Post Office, the Talat Sao is the daily morning market. It is a large concrete bazaar built by Vietnam in the 1970s - renovated in early 2010 -, with several floors. You can find just about everything here: traditional and modern textiles, jewellery, DIY equipment, Hi-Fi, telephony, stationery, etc. It is also a good place to eat at low prices.
