The cave of Dalwak is about 4 km from Dapaong, on the road towards Mango-Kara. You have to take the track about 2,5 km and turn on the right. Originally, the cave served as a refuge during ethnic wars (about 700 years ago) and then at the time of colonization. Today it has become a place of pilgrimage and retirement, which explains the presence, at the entrance, of a statuette of the Virgin Mary. By leaving the site, follow the water pipes towards the Water board, where a superb panoramic view of the plain and the dam is provided.
