Travel Guide Sorno

This isolated hamlet in the Sorno valley makes miraculous use of its small stream to cultivate vast, green, stepped terraces on the mountainside. Heading down to the sea, you'll find a picturesque, well-cut cove, with a rock-protected beach, right in front of an enormous rocky peak, which looks like a volcanic needle jutting out of the waves. Only accessible on foot, it's a lovely walk to plan while admiring the landscape, the villagers' houses, the crops growing on the ridges and the horizon. The very pleasant bay is well worth the detour, and it's no small one!
