Morro is a quiet, colorful village 5 kilometers north of Vila, bordered by a beautiful beach. Courageous walkers will enjoy hiking between Vila de Maio and Morro, without forgetting to bring water, sun protection or a picnic. In Morro, there's still a saltworks in operation with very little machinery and, curiously enough, run solely by women, who will be delighted to receive visitors.
