Vila das Pombas faces the sea for about 1 km, it is the starting point of a beautiful walk through nature in the Paúl Valley, count about 4 hours.
In the village, you can admire the oldest trapiche in Cape Verde, probably dating from the 17th century. It is located in a courtyard, inside a large building with a wooden door, close to the gas station (under the statue of Santo Antonio). Here they make grogue and Napoleon punch, named after the ox that turns the trapiche. If you can't find it, ask the locals about the name of the punch.
