Fish market, located on the seafront and near the Belem tower, popular for its atmosphere especially in the morning

A very typical place, the fish market is located on the seafront near the Belem tower. Try to go there in the morning, because in the afternoon, there is little left... The walls of the building are decorated with frescoes made by exclusively local painters. A place not to be missed for its popular atmosphere and the discovery of Cape Verdean waters rich in groupers, swordfish, moray eels, tuna, red mullet and other sole. A word of advice: the promiscuity requires that you pay attention to your bags and personal belongings!

Le marché aux poissons est situé au bord de la mer près de la tour de Belem. J'y ai passé un agréable moment. Il très autochtones. On peut y voir toutes sortes de poissons, du thon, espadons, maquereaux, poissons aux diverses couleurs.

Mignon petit marché de poissons. Les pêcheurs arrivent avec leur pêche et elle est ensuite vendue directement par les femmes. Quelle effervescence ! Un passage incontournable.

petit tour indispensable le matin au marché aux poissons pour s'imprégner de l'ambiance, voir l'arrivée des pêcheurs, le travail des poissonniers préparant énergiquement le poisson sur les étals. Il y a beaucoup de poissons et beaucoup de monde.
