Hotel located in an alley in the historic district of Mindelo, offering elegant and very comfortable rooms
Casa Colonial is one of the oldest houses on the island of São Vicente. Beautifully restored by an English couple in love with the archipelago, this pistachio-colored house is located in an alley of the historical district of Mindelo. The rooms are elegant (some with large romantic canopy beds) and very comfortable. The private toilets are outside the house, as it is a period house. Prefer the rooms on the first floor, quieter. Nice little swimming pool in the patio, welcome to refresh yourself. Charm in spades.

VOLVEREMOS.
The rooms (or at least the one we stayed in) are tiny, but have everything we needed - a safe, a fan, good shower and bathroom, a comfy bed...
The breakfast was good, although not particularly exciting (not sure if it changes each day however). The staff was absolutely lovely throughout, and we also got to meet and chat with other guests which added to the nice atmosphere.
Our favourite aspect was the location, as we could get wherever we wanted to in town extremely quickly and easily. It's very close to the beautiful Mindelo town hall, yet on a small side street meaning it's nice and quiet and away from the cars.
