It is a green and cultivated valley, accessible by taking the direction of Barril and near Praia Branca, protected by mountains. You can admire the Rocha Xribida, the engraved rock, which raises many questions. One version speaks of pirates having inscribed signs. Other theories claim that these inscriptions are proof that the Portuguese were not the first to arrive on the island, and others, more recent, that it is a geological phenomenon: under pressure, the split tuff layers have let in external elements, which, by embedding themselves, evoke signs. In any case, it has become a curiosity.
