This large inn, which has been in existence since 1950 and boasts a long, bright yellow façade, is an old-fashioned establishment in the best sense of the word, combining Austrian-style hospitality with cosy comfort. Until recently, Gasthof Schatz was best known for its Tyrolean restaurant, serving generous, calorific cuisine that appealed to the sporty clientele who travelled the surrounding mountains. It is now refocused on the hotel business. There is no longer a daily lunch menu, but the restaurant is still open in the evenings.

A rather warm restaurant with a wooden ceiling. A varied cuisine with several traditional dishes. Very good pizzas cooked on a wood fire. The arugula on some of the pizzas is very fresh, as are the vegetables. Pizzas well topped and thin dough. Many other dishes are offered: meats, fish, soups, sandwiches, polenta, bruschetta, several kinds of pasta, burgers... In short, there is something for everyone. The little extra: the children's menus which will please the bambini ! A nice address.
