A small museum located in the oldest houses of the city for an interesting visit to Olafsfjordur

Although not worth the detour, this little visit is as interesting as it is educational. This little museum is located in one of the town's oldest houses, and could indeed keep you busy for an hour or so. Among the exhibits are a number of stuffed birds (all local species), a polar bear and the popular "The desire to fly" exhibition, which looks at how humans have always wanted to fly.
