Excellent facilities. It was just me at night (October) and they had a heated bathroom and shower. As well as a small lounge room. It was perfect to warm up after a cold hike. This town is gorgeous and well worth a visit!

NO PARÉIS EN ESTE CAMPING. En mi opinión, no vale nada la pena. Nosotros pasamos por delante y estaba lleno de coches y campers y la zona de baños y cocina se veía pequeña y sencilla para tanta gente. Por lo que decidimos ir al camping que hay arriba del pueblo: TJALDSVAEDI. Está a tan solo 2 minutos en coche, es super tranquilo (en pleno agosto solo estuvimos nosotros y dos coches más), las vistas increíbles y la zona de baños tiene una pica, sencillo pero muy correcto. Además, el guardián del camping fue muy amable. Recomiendo 100% ir al camping Tjaldsvæði y no al del centro del pueblo. Tjaldsvæði fue uno de mis campings preferidos de toda Islandia!

Ein Campingplatz in der Mitte des Ortes mit Dusche, WC und Infopoint. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man alle Geschäfte. Der Platz liegt direkt neben einem Restaurant und Café und direkt am Hafen und doch mit Ausblick auf die Berge.

Location was perfect and crazy to be so close to the arctic circle! Very dark and perfect for Northern lights viewing! Host was welcoming and there was a lot of space to spread out from others.

Camping avec belle vue, nous sommes allez sur l’emplacement excentré (pas celui en pleins centre). Beau cadre dommage ni douche ni cuisine
