A small park in the shape of a peninsula with a panoramic view of the lake in Myvatn

This park is an atypical green setting that is conducive to escape. This pretty little peninsula-shaped park with a panoramic view of the lake will delight you. The former owners planted thousands of trees (spruce, birch...) and plants before donating the site to the country. It is ideal for a 30 minute stroll. The site is located on road 848, 8 km south of Reykjahlíð. You can also get a great view of Lake Myvatn and the lava pillars of Kálfastrandavogar in one of its coves.
