The best address on the island without a doubt! This is an address as precious as it is unmissable. The Slippurinn is indeed a family restaurant which shows that one can combine tradition, history and modernity. Fresh products, an irreproachable service, a historical setting in an old building of the port (a workshop which was closed about thirty years ago), a quality/price ratio rare in Iceland. Reservations are recommended. Of note: Chef Gísli Matthías Audunsson represented Iceland in 2012 at Nordic Chefs.
