Taken over by the high-end hotel chain KeaHotels, the Katla Hotel is an upmarket accommodation with a certain charm. Here you are in an old farmhouse situated at the foot of gentle grassy slopes. The place has a vast capacity of 103 en-suite rooms, spread over several buildings. The hotel has a hot tub and a sauna. The large restaurant offers a buffet dinner (well stocked but expensive). Possibility to cook on the spot. A quality place that makes it the best address in the area.

We booked a full bed for 2 people. It was two twin beds pushed together. We were then told this is how they do it there. How can someone pay for something and you give them something different? Since it was two twin beds pushed together there was a line and hole inbetween you fall into. There were two small 2 feet long blankets like the length of a sleeping bag! There is no customer service at all. I have yet to recieve any refund.
And there were stains from past guest, bodily fluids on the couch which was so disgusting.
