Farmhouse hotel with 88 large Scandinavian style rooms, all with bathroom

A farmhouse hotel with 150 large Scandinavian-style en-suite rooms, located 9 km west of Vík (access via Route 1). The view from the restaurant or breakfast room is unique, opening up 180° to the valley and ocean. The restaurant offers typical cuisine, with no nasty surprises. All in all, a good base close to the region's points of interest. As the hotel is likely to close its doors during the festive season, it would be wise to contact it in advance of any stay at this time of year.

Very poor hospitality. Breakfast was awful. This hotel is full of bus tours and school groups. It is not appropriate for individual travelers. You are better of in Vík. Do NOt have the dinner here. Rooms are minimal. Basic dorm room.

Rooms are very basic. The hotel caters mostly to tour buses. Even though the hotel has a view of the ocean and even though we reserved two "superior" rooms we were offered two rear facing rooms looking out at a wall! Every room has a TV but all but two chanels are scrambled. Overall, a very disapointing stay.

Prima hotel met een inclusief ontbijt dat zeer ruim is.

In de buurt is meer dan genoeg te doen voor paar dagen plezier. Mooie tussenstop zoals wij deden om hele cirkel te rijden tussen Keflavik en Hofn in.

De kamers zijn wel heel heel warm en temperatuur kun je niet aanpassen dat een beetje vreemd is. Veder schone kamers.

De prijs is niet goedkoop maar ook niet veelst te duur.

After finishing dinner, we finally got our drinks. It took forever for bartender to make them. He seemed to be nervous and impolite. At least food was fabulous and rooms were perfectly clean.
