This brand new hotel opened its doors in June 2019. The 69 rooms are very spacious and offer beautiful views of the surrounding nature. It is located less than 2 hours from the most scenic attractions in South Iceland. From the luxurious lounge, you'll have a chance to admire the Northern Lights: there is almost no light pollution! A little extra: a state-of-the-art acoustic system that suppresses background noise. For dinner, enjoy local gravlax salmon, or take advantage of the breakfast that is included in the room rate

Owner's Message LANDHOTEL
The Landhotel is a new hotel, which just opened in June 2019. It is an elegant four-star hotel. The architecture of the hotel and its interior is inspired by the environment and has a total of 69 rooms, all of which are very spacious and offer fantastic views of the highlands, lowlands and midlands.
One of the unique qualities of the Landhotel is its location in the countryside, where there is no light pollution or traffic. The hotel is about two hours from the most picturesque attractions in southern Iceland, which offer an endless list of recreational activities. It is optimal to have a base at the Landhotel and enjoy your adventurous journey during the day and enjoy quiet evenings in our luxurious hotel.
