Hestheimar is a charming place located in the heart of South Iceland, between the Golden Circle and the road to Vik. They have six comfortable cottages where you can feel at home and very nice and comfortable rooms. The breakfast room and the living room have a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside, the large ranch and the Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes. Here you can relax in the midst of nature with a nice bath in the hot tubs while enjoying a hot chocolate or a glass of wine.

I really cannot recommend the experience.
The guide made zero effort to make it an enjoyable ride, didn’t say a word during the entire ride, only allowed us to toelt for a minute after we explicitly asked twice. We came back 20 minutes before the time was up and still paid the entire price. The stables are run down.
Das Frühstück hatte große Auswahl, von Müsli über bacon and beans bis hin zu selbst gebackenem Brot.
Jeden Abend begrüßte uns eine zutrauliche Katze.
Außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend war das Personal, das sich jederzeit um die Bedürfnisse der Gäste kümmerte!
Die Aussicht aus dem Frühstücks- und Aufenthaltsraum ist einfach nur atemberaubend!
