Hotel located a short distance from the falls, offers beautiful double rooms with bathroom and beautiful views
This country hotel, rather isolated but a short distance from the falls, overlooks the river and offers beautiful double rooms, equipped with bathroom and TV, with lovely views. Some of the rooms are a little small, but the facilities are of a high standard and the breakfast is generous. The panorama is equally pleasant from the restaurant, recommended for tourists passing through. At the entrance to the desert and not far from Geysir and Þingvellir, close to Route 35, this is a pleasant stopover for motorized tourists.

The environment is very cozy, quiet and comfortable. The staffs are also very kind and friendly. They provide northern light call so that you don't have to wait outside in the chill. Thanks to the staff, we are very lucky to see the northern lights and it was one of the most exciting experience in our life. It's like a place outside of the noisy world and you find your shelter and peace here. Wish I can keep this place for myself but really recommend you to spend some time here.

We stayed there in a cold March and it was super warm inside. Rooms are cosy and we had almost best sleep in the room until we realize the northern lights are about to start. See attached shots
The breakfast was amazing too. We'll definitely stay there again once in the future
