Street which represents today the main commercial artery of the city center in Reykjavik
The axis was once laid out to connect the core of the capital to the Laugardalur valley where the inhabitants took advantage of the hot springs to wash their clothes. It has become a semi-pedestrian street and is now the main shopping street in the city centre. The street is always busy and attracts passers-by with its many cafes and shops. At weekends, it is also very popular with tourists. It is the ideal place to buy souvenirs of your trip and gifts for your loved ones on your return.

Rare lieu islandais dédié au shopping
Vous trouverez dans cette rue de nombreux magasins proposant des souvenirs, ce qui n'est pas si fréquent en Islande.

LA rue commerçante !
Laugavedur est LA rue commerçante de la capitale. On y retrouve toutes les enseignes phares de l'Islande telles que the north face et geysir, de nombreux hôtels et restaurants. Bref si vous voulez faire du shopping, vous passerez forcément par là.

Certainement l'une, si ce n'est la meilleure, des meilleures rues à Reykjavik. Je vous conseille d'y faire vos achats de souvenir / cadeaux qui sont moins chers qu'ailleurs.
