Barracks with panoramic terrace offering an incredible view of the city.
Built in the 14th century and integrated into the city walls in 1450, Napoleonic troops began demolishing it in 1801. In 1845, the Austrians transformed what remained into barracks. Despite the current state of the abandoned building, from the panoramic terrace you can enjoy an incredible view of the city. To reach this terrace, you will have to take the stairs in Via Scalone Castello S.Pietro. Just before reaching the top, make a short stop in the new castle garden, which also offers a beautiful view of the city.
