Campsite near Shark Trough and Devil's Island offering traditional Afar huts for overnight stays.

Indicated by a sign, slightly off the road, this camp is the closest to the Shark Trough and Devil's Island. A very enviable situation. This camp is not necessarily the most pleasant in the country, it can seem abandoned when there are no customers, but it holds on. Like "Chez Momo", we sleep in traditional Afar huts. The facilities remain rudimentary. You can bring your own duvet or a sheet to be more comfortable. The pebble beach gives access to a sea often rippled by the waves and the wind.

Pour le déjeuner du midi mais pas pour dormir ... Sauf si vous n'avez pas le choix.
Le campement du RIFT AFAR peut constituer une alternative à celui de MOMO RAYED. Spartiate (Pour y passer la nuit), il peut vous permettre de déjeuner le midi à l'ombre des tôles ce qui est agréable dans le secteur tant le soleil est de plomb et l'ombre rare dans ce paysage lunaire. Les prix sont comparables à ceux pratiqués par celui de MOMO RAYED situé 1 à 2 KM plus loin et qui a ma préférence par rapport à celui-ci.
Comme chez MOMO RAYED réservation obligatoire 48H00 minimum avant au 77 85 81 55 ou au 77 85 56 00 ou auprès de Houmed Loïta au 77 82 22 91.
