Travel Guide Gobaad

The Gobaad, which continues beyond As Eyla, is crossed by the bad track of the Abbé lake. After the village, the Gobaad appears in all its splendour, in all its darkness. The rock here is dark, as far as the eye can see, forming an impressive desert of stones. If you are not used to the difficult trips in 4x4, and if you have time, ask your guide and driver to stop frequently, to be able to touch this rock, to take the time to admire it. Goats, camels and donkeys sometimes appear in the landscape, driven by children who seem to come from nowhere. The only visible locality is Koûta Boûyya.
