Travel Guide Guistir

In the middle of a landscape of basaltic rocks (which isolation and desolation make even more mineral than elsewhere), we reach the small post of Guistir, almost straddling three countries: Djibouti, Ethiopia and Somalia. You will be able to see all three from the top of the guard post tower, if you ask its occupants for permission. The exact meeting point of these three borders, the Tourka Djalelo massif, is less than 2 km to the south. Djalelo is also the name of the wadi that flows at the bottom of the valley of the same name, and also... the name of the plant with yellow flowers that covers the tracks of this preserved valley.
