The palace is an enclave of greenery that turns its back on the city, facing the sea. It feels more like Dubai than Djibouti, and it feels good to find an oasis of modernity and well-being. The Kempinski Djibouti has 320 rooms, including 39 suites, 3 restaurants, 4 cafes and bars, two large swimming pools, two tennis courts, a spa, a gym, shops and a limousine service. Very professional service. Taxis are not allowed on the premises.

Prix élevé
Le Palace permet de trouver, à Djibouti, un confort aux standards occidentaux et récent avec beaucoup de verdure. Néanmoins, les prix sont exorbitants. Je n'ai fais qu'y prendre un verre au bord de la piscine mais à mon avis le rapport qualité prix ne vaut pas mieux que celui d'autres hotels.

Le personnel n'est pas habitué aux coutumes françaises et font des gaffes comme donner les prix à payer devant la femme, ou oublier de livrer le champagne attendu dans la chambre.
Ceci dit, les repas y sont très bons, le buffet formidable.
Et le cadre est magnifique, la décoration comme les piscines ou le spa.
