MUSEO ARCHEOLOGICO GEORGES VALLET

At the top of a cliff plunging steeply into the Mediterranean, this villa is a beautiful place to house a museum. It is dedicated to the French archaeologist Georges Vallet who made great discoveries in the region. The visit is surprising, its singular collection attests to the presence of man in the peninsula, six millennia before our era. All the pieces in the museum come from the region, which was very popular in Roman times. A visit that is worth the detour.
