In addition to the unusual Romanesque church of Santa Maria Maddalena with its Gothic bell tower, Ossuccio is also a good base for renting rowing boats to reach the island of Comacina (the only lake island in Lake Como). There are also the remains of a Romanesque abbey, the San Giovanni oratory and a waterside restaurant. The village of Ossuccio remains a beautiful stopover on the Lakes Route, offering fine panoramic views of Lake Como with the mountains in the background. The lake's beach and the park are two further arguments in favor of spending a few hours or even a few days here on a sunny day.
