North of Brno and east of Blansko there is a beautiful area with all the characteristics of karst limestone formations. Skalní mlýn, 5 km east of Blansko, is a kind of tourist center of the cave region. There are hotels, a bus station and an information point. If you don't have your own car, you will have to walk from cave to cave most of the time. To reach Skalní Mlýn, take a direct bus from ČSAD or a train to Blansko (from Brno) and then a local bus, or walk. In Brno, there are agencies offering excursions (info at the Brno tourist office)
