Writings attest to the existence of this city as early as 1183. It was mainly developed during the th century, but the Renaissance and Baroque buildings of the city were largely destroyed by countless fires. However, two buildings deserve some lines. The Renaissance Palace is a curious building reminiscent of Renaissance style and hosts city hall. More interesting, the Empire Empire built by the Dalberg family. Originally, here was the residence (th century) of the Krejíř de Krajk. It was in 1816, then 1832, that the changes took place. Inside you will find an Empire furniture as rigid as the building itself. But also a library of Art Nouveau style.Access. 35 km east of Jindřichův Hradec, on the road of Mor. . Bus to both cities, but also to Telc. Bus from and to Prague (3 hours drive).
