Travel Guide Husinec

A visit to this small village, 6 km north of Prachatice (frequent buses), is only for those who are interested in local history and particularly in Jan Hus (theologian and religious reformer of the 14th century), who was born here in 1371. You can see the house where he was born and the museum dedicated to him. Tourism around this religious figure has developed here, but it remains essentially national and the tourist infrastructures are not numerous. For accommodation, you will have to count on a room in a local's house: posters bloom on the houses as soon as the weather is fine and the first visitors arrive.
