Despite numerous transformations, Loket Castle retains a superb silhouette: high square tower, Romanesque rotunda and massive bastions overlooking the river. It remains a beautiful ensemble of this Romanesque castle, built for the Bohemian kings in the 13th century and originally used as a watchtower. In the 19th century, it was used as a prison, which remained in operation until 1949. You can also access the cells, the main tower and a porcelain museum.

La visite de la cité avec ses façades gothique est des plus plaisantes.
