This large industrial city is the administrative seat of a large region in northern Bohemia. The surrounding area is ideal for lovers of castles, religious buildings, and outdoor activities... Access by car is very easy from Prague via the D8 or E55 freeway to Litoměřice, and then the national road along the Elbe (about 65 km). Buses are frequent from Prague Florenc as well as trains from Masarykovo nádraží or Hlavní nádraží (approx. 1h15), as the town is located on a major railroad connection between Prague and Dresden. This is also the reason why many Germans visit the region.
