Although modest with its 456 m, this hill is a historical, national and symbolic site. Its very sober rotunda commemorates the first Slavic settlements and the legend of the arrival of the patriarch Čech. He would have chosen this site because it was protected on all sides by the mountains and would have predicted that "milk and honey" would flow from it. Today, it is mainly a promontory and a superb panorama of the region: the Czech plateau, the Ore Mountains, the Central Bohemian Mountain and even Prague (in very very good weather).
